Prof. Manas K. Mandal is a pioneering researcher with over 35 years in psychological science, specializing in affect processing and behavioural neuroscience. As the former Director of the Defense Institute of Psychological Research (DRDO), he has applied psychological principles to enhance human performance in high-stakes environments, including armed forces selection, disaster counseling, and critical behavior analysis. He now serves as a Distinguished Visiting Professor at the Rekhi Centre of Excellence for the Science of Happiness.
